Thanks for stopping by my website.  My name is Josie Mazzaferro and I am a residential Real Estate Agent/Realtor® working with The Weeks Team at Allen Tate’s Ballantyne Office.  I’m a full-time agent that helps buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords in the greater Charlotte metro area, including Union County, NC and Fort Mill and Indian Land, SC.

My passion for real estate developed when I was working at the YWCA of Delaware back in the mid-1990s.  We had a program called Centers for Homeownership that helped people clean up their credit reports, learn how to budget and do routine home maintenance.  Once they graduated from our program, we had lending partners that would help them get a home loan and then we would connect them to agents that would help them buy their first home.  I got to witness people move from homelessness to living in our transitional housing program, get a job, and then buy their first home in a matter of 5 years.  Their transformations were so inspiring and I could see the pride that they took in being a homeowner!

I like to help people, and that’s what I love about my job! I’m a pet-lover, so I like to think of myself as “Your Best Friend in the World of Charlotte Real Estate” and I promise to give all of my clients the loyalty and love that this little guy gives me every day:

By the way, this is Pepe le Piu, a little poodle mix who came running up to me in Renaissance Park in 2001 in need of a home.  I helped him find one…and he allows me and my husband to live in it with him!
